Hello, I received an ITA on the 1st of march. I am a foreigner living in China. I have a problem with the proof of funds as ICBC says that they cannot put their address and contact information on the Certification of deposit and bank statements. Do you have any advice on how I should deal with this issue? Has anyone had the same issue and still successfully got their application accepted?

Do they have any logo and seal on the certification? I would suggest you to contact your customer manager and ask if they can do any sort of personal affidavit too.
Thank you for your reply 🙂 there is a logo, seal and wet-ink signature. However, they say that the document is system generated and they cannot manually edit anything.
It looks like individual clients don’t have a dedicated customer manager. Still, I will go back again and try to find someone who may listen to the request.

if you have difficulty obtaining that, simply write a letter of explanation attached to your document, I think as long as your document is legit, IRCC would be okay with it. ICBC is a reputable bank so I think IRCC would be happy to take that.
